Manifesto:

The Threadbare Art Collective website displays our poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, visual work, music, and multimedia work. We believe that artists in the twenty-first century will go extinct, unless they do away with narrow and excessive specialization. We also believe that the next great artistic Renaissance will be worldwide, multicultural, multilingual, and interdisciplinary. In our daily practice, we strive to make insightful and innovative aesthetic choices, while also addressing the daunting moral, social, religious, political, and environmental problems that confront humankind today and will only become more pressing as time passes. Though we hope our work will make a difference, “One does not need hope to undertake, nor success to persevere” (William the Silent).
